Godspring of Refuge Church 1.1
Life at Godpsring of Mercy Church was quiet for the nuns who lived there and had made God their life's work. It was run by Abbess Willow, and she had two other nuns under her: Olivia and Florence. They spent their time getting to know their neighbors.
The sisters also spent their time in quiet study in the convent's library.
They also made time to discuss Holy Scripture in the church.
As good sisters do, they ate their meals together in the convent's small kitchen.
Of course, that didn't mean the nuns couldn't have fun once in a while.
The nuns invited over Maya; they were hoping to make the orphanage an offshoot of the convent.
Abbess Willow and Sister Florence share a quiet moment in the courtyard.
There was also upkeep to be done to keep the church's grounds in tiptop shape.
The nuns finally succeeding in convincing Maya to operate her orphanage as an offshoot of their convent.
"I've seen you walk past twice now, my child. My name is Abbess Willow. What ails you, child?" Willow had notice one of the ladies of the night come past their convent twice. Something had to be bothering her.
"I'm Natalia," the woman in red said. They invited her in and over lunch discovered that Natalia was pregnant.
"I don't want my child to grow up in a brothel, Sister," Natalia said. "Full of who knows what sort of shady characters. I want a better life for him or her. Will you accept us?"
"I will think on it, Natalia," Willow said. "I will let you know."
Natalia hoped with all her heart that the nuns would allow her and her child in. She truly wanted better for the baby than she could provide at a brothel.
