Warwickshire Style Challenge

 

Meet the denizens of Oscania! 

I was too overwhelmed with my old kingdom, so I deleted it and am starting afresh. 

Oscania was a once-thriving kingdom. Then the sickness came and decimated the families of the thriving kingdom. There wasn't a family who didn't lose a father or mother or sister or brother. Finally the sickness abated and things slowly returned to normal. We join the families some time after the sickness ended.

The Raithbournes: They have ruled Oscania for generations. The current monarch is Queen Elizabeth, who lost her parents and husband, Prince Tobias Beaumont. Surviving was her eldest son and heir, Prince Robert, her daughter Princess Alexandra, and her youngest child Prince Frederick.

The next family is the Norman family. They are the dukes of Gramsby. The current duke is David, who is married to Daisy. David has a younger brother named George and together David and Daisy have twin daughters: Eliza and Beatrice.

Next up is the Norman family who holds the Marquessate of Tenbigh.  The current marquessate is held by Miles.  He has a son, John, who will inherit it upon his death. John is married to Cicely and together they have two sons: Hugh and Ian.

Finally, the last of the nobles: The Earls of Hilford. The current earl of Hilford is Roger Newton, who only had a daughter, Jocelyn. She married a baron, Peter, and they had three children: The Honourable Calista Callaway, Percy, The Lord Lunaris, and

Of course, a kingdom isn't just the nobility.  There is a quiet church, nunnery, and monastery called Godspring of Refuge. It is run by Abbess Willow. There are two other sisters: Olivia and Florence.
