Fort Emerald

 Peace reigned over the land of Oscania, so there wasn't a whole lot for the soldiers of Fort Emerald to do. Not that Callum was complaining, of course. He'd rather be bored out of his mind then be shot at overseas.  For the most part, Callum spent his time eating with his bunkmates....   From left to right: Private Second Class Callum Turner, Private Arthur Cunningham, Private Charles Griffiths, Lieutenant General Daniel Smith, and General Laura Drake. ...playing kickybag outside with his fellow soldiers.... Boo, General Drake cried, you suck!  ....and getting to know the local women, such as Lady Beatrice Norton and Josephine, the local madam of the brothel next door.  He took a shine to Lady Beatrice, giving her a backrub, telling her how tense she was.  There was also time for poker games. Godspring of Refuge Church 1.1

  Life at Godpsring of Mercy Church was quiet for the nuns who lived there and had made God their life's work. It was run by Abbess Willow, and she had two other nuns under her: Olivia and Florence. They spent their time getting to know their neighbors.  "I have no desire to see the world, child. I am happy here with my sisters," she tells Maya Miller, the matron of the local orphanage.  The sisters also spent their time in quiet study in the convent's library.  They also made time to discuss Holy Scripture in the church.  From left to right: Abbess Willow, Sister Olivia, and Sister Florence As good sisters do, they ate their meals together in the convent's small kitchen.  Of course, that didn't mean the nuns couldn't have fun once in a while.  The nuns invited over Maya; they were hoping to make the orphanage an offshoot of the convent.
