 Royals: Raithbourne, Chapter One "The palace renovations look great, Mom!" Prince Robert said as they stood outside their newly renovted home. It had been time, Queen Elizabeth had decided, to update the medieval castle to be more modern-day.  Ugh, these flowers suck, Prince Frederick mused.  While her family stood outside in the front yard, Princess Alexandra was busy elsewhere: scanning the skies.  Despite the upheavel that had crashed through their lives, Elizabeth tried to maintain as normal a childhood as she could for her children. She especially enjoyed dancing with Frederick out in the yard. Robert, as a teen soon to go off to college, was far too old for childish games like that. As queen, Elizabeth knew it was her duty to meet and be friends (or at least be nice to) her subjects. She met Abbess Willow, and Lord George Norton, the brother of the Duke of Gramsby. Elizabeth and Lord Norton talked for hours about everything from the theatre: ....to astrology. ...

  Meet the denizens of Oscania!  I was too overwhelmed with my old kingdom, so I deleted it and am starting afresh.  Oscania was a once-thriving kingdom. Then the sickness came and decimated the families of the thriving kingdom. There wasn't a family who didn't lose a father or mother or sister or brother. Finally the sickness abated and things slowly returned to normal. We join the families some time after the sickness ended. The Raithbournes: They have ruled Oscania for generations. The current monarch is Queen Elizabeth, who lost her parents and husband, Prince Tobias Beaumont. Surviving was her eldest son and heir, Prince Robert, her daughter Princess Alexandra, and her youngest child Prince Frederick. From left to right: In the back are Queen Elizabeth and Prince Robert.
